Walkden Reading Group

If you enjoy reading a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, trying out something different and sharing your thoughts with others in a relaxed setting, then joining a reading group could be for you! 

Meetings usually last an hour, with the emphasis being on having fun and getting to read things that you might not normally read. Most of the titles chosen are contemporary fiction, often fairly new but also tried and tested at reading groups elsewhere, so there should be much food for thought and plenty to talk about at meetings. 

Meetings are run by group members themselves, with support from a member of the library staff. Books are provided and there is no charge.
