Following the acquisition of RBdigital by Overdrive, all titles previously hosted by RBdigital have been transferred to Overdrive. This necessitated updates to the harvester for Overdrive to support eMagazines previously held by RBdigital/Zinio.
To accommodate changes made in the Overdrive fulfilment API, when borrowing an Overdrive eResource, selecting Download this title now will now open a new window with the download options applicable to the resource. Per Overdrive:
"Starting in November, instead of providing individual links to download or open titles directly through our APIs, links will point to a new OverDrive-hosted screen that guides users through the steps for getting their book."
