Staff tag bulk update error message

If a Staff tag bulk update operation includes records that are not in bibliographic (BIB) format, the error returned will state this as the reason why they cannot be processed.

Update support of URIs for authority linking to external taxonomies

This feature requires server version 10.9 or higher.

URIs added to the $0 subfield of 6XX tags will create a new Authority record, with the URI added to the 024 tag of the linked authority.

If the URI matches an existing Authority record, the Bibliographic record will be linked to the existing Authority.

If the URI matches an existing Authority record, the Authority Heading will be used regardless of the text content of the other subfields of the 6XX tag.

MARC extract for EBSCO Library Link

A new command line utility has been added that allows MARC records to be extracted from Spydus for EBSCO's Library Link service.

When the scheduled task is run;

a .MRC file will be generated on the library's Spydus server (the filename will be comprised of the library's institution code and today's date e.g. ABCD_20220831.mrc),
the .MRC file will be transmitted to EBSCO via FTP.
