Allow staff reservations (global parameters)

The global general parameters only apply if your library is part of a consortium, i.e. if there are multiple institutions using a shared database.

To specify whether staff can place a reservation against titles that have no holdings in a global bibliographic search:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation, Global and then General Parameters.
Set Allow staff reservations if no holdings to Yes or No.
Click Save or Save & Close.

To specify whether staff can place a reservation against titles on order in a global bibliographic search:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation, Global and then Global General Parameters.
Set Allow staff reservations if on order to Yes or No.
Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
