To specify whether overdue fines or points are applied only after the item is returned:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Delay calculation of overdues to Yes or No.

   No	Overdue fines or points will be applied while the item is still onloan.
   Yes	Overdue fines or points will only be applied AFTER the item is returned.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
