You can choose whether to display an alert when you select a borrower who has fines, demerits, other charges or overdue items. To do this:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set the Display alert you want to Yes or No.

Display alert about fines specifies whether alert TOTFINES is displayed when you enter the number of a borrower who has fines or demerits.

Display alert about other charges specifies whether alert TOTCHRG is displayed when you enter the number of a borrower who has other charges, for example processing charges for notices or lost items.

Display alert about overdue items specifies whether alert OVDWARN is displayed when you enter the number of a borrower who has overdue items.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
