Maximum grace period that can be set in Local Settings

To specify the maximum period of grace for day loans or minute loans:
- From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
- For day loans set a number of days in Maximum grace period for days loans, and for minute loans set a number of minutes in Maximum grace period for minute loans.
- Press Tab or click anywhere on the screen to enable the Save options.
- Click Save or Save & Close.
If a loan is returned within this grace period then no charges are made against the borrower.
When you're returning items you can set a period of grace using the Local Settings, for example, after the library system has been out of operation.
