Event registration anonymisation for borrowers is performed in line with Borrower Anonymisation parameters (or transaction history de-linking parameters).

If registering for an event as a guest (not a borrower), the details provided in registration will be anonymised in line with the parameters below. If the parameters below are not set, guest registrations will not be anonymised.

If anonymising guest registrations, all personal details in the registration record will be cleared, other than the name field. The name field will be replaced with the value provided in the anonymisation name parameter. 

The anonymisation of guest registrations is performed by a scheduled task that may require commissioning.

This feature requires server version 10.9 or higher.

 To specify whether guest event registrations are anonymised:

1. Navigate to Maintenance > Events > General Parameters.
2. Set the Guest Anonymisation parameters as required

Guest registration anonymisation name	When anonymising the registration record, the name in the registration record will be replaced with this value.  If this setting is empty then the name will be set to 'Guest'.
Guest registration anonymisation period	The number of days after an event was held that the guest information will be anonymised. This value must be a positive integer. If this value is null, guest registrations will not be anonymised.
