Add, edit or delete fund patterns
    In This Topic

Rather than filling in the fund distribution manually every time you create an order, you can set up the distribution once in a fund pattern and then select this pattern any time you create an order. You can have any number of fund patterns.

To add a new fund pattern:

    1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Acquisitions and then Fund Patterns.
    2. Click New.
    3. Specify the new ID and Description.
    4. Select the Location and Collection (and optionally the Sublocation).
    5. Select a Fund and click Add. Repeat this step for each fund in the pattern. The percentages are automatically adjusted to add up to 100.
    6. Click Save or Save & Close.

    To edit a fund pattern:

    1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Acquisitions and then Fund Patterns.
    2. Select the pattern you want from the list.
    3. Make your changes.
      • To add a new fund to the pattern, select the Fund and click Add. The percentages are automatically adjusted to add up to 100.
      • To remove a fund from the pattern, select the row and click Remove. Click Fit Percentages to adjust the percentages across the remaining funds.
      • To change the percentages manually, click Edit for a row, make your change, and click Update.
    4. Click Save or Save & Close.

    To delete a fund pattern:

    1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Acquisitions and then Fund Patterns.
    2. Select the pattern you want from the list.
    3. Click Delete, and then click Yes at the confirmation prompt.
    4. Click Save or Save & Close. The pattern is only deleted when you save your changes.

You can also include a fund pattern in an allocation pattern.
