You can specify a discount rate in the vendor details. To specify whether this discount is automatically applied to an order:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Acquisitions and then General Parameters.
2. On the General tab, set Apply discount rate by default to Yes or No.
3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
