The Floating tax rate parameter determines what happens if you change the Unit price in the order details. To set this parameter:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Acquisitions and then General Parameters.
2. On the General tab, set Floating tax rate to Yes or No.

   No	If you change the Unit price (incl. tax) on the order then the Unit price (excl. tax) is recalculated using the current Tax rate. If you change the Unit price (excl. tax) on the order then the Unit price (incl. tax) is recalculated using the current Tax rate.
   Yes	If you change the Unit price (incl. tax) on the order then the Unit price (excl. tax) stays the same and the Tax rate is recalculated. If you change the Unit price (excl. tax) on the order then the Unit price (incl. tax) stays the same and the Tax rate is recalculated.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
