Holiday retention period

This feature requires server version 10.8 or higher.

This parameter specifies number of days before a past holiday will be automatically deleted from Spydus. To set this parameter:

Navigate to Maintenance > Circulation > General Parameters.
Set Holiday retention period to a positive integer.
- 0 or null means holidays will not be automatically deleted.
Click Save or Save & Close.

Automatic deletion is performed by the scheduled cleanup task. If this task has not been commissioned for your library, please contact the Civica Service Desk.

IMPORTANT: Holidays may be used in the calculation of overdue charges and lost periods, so this should be considered when setting this parameter.
