In some situations, it may be desired to have a status applied to an item for a nominated period of time. For example, if quarantining items that may have been exposed to potentially unsafe conditions.

The Period when status automatically removed is the number of hours after the selected status was applied that it will be automatically removed by Spydus. This parameter supports whole integer values only. Any decimal values will be rounded.

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Item Status.
2. Select the status you want from the list.
3. Set Period when status automatically removed to a numerical value.
4. Click Save or Save & Close.
