View page
To preview a generated page, select the page in the table and click View Page.
Export and Import
The Export and Import options can be used to Export current page values to an XML file, and to Import a file in the same format.
This might be used to:
- back up existing configurations before making changes (i.e. creating a restore point)
- to port changes from a TEST system to a LIVE system (e.g. configure parameters as desired in TEST, Export the parameters to file, then Import the file to LIVE, to avoid manual duplication)
Using images in the page generator
It is recommended to insert image tags with the Insert image button.
Using this option allows users to set the:
- Web address (URL) of the image
- Alternate text displayed on mouseover or for vision impaired users
- The Width & Height of the image in pixels
While the interface will allow users to paste images into the Body field, this will encode the image/s in base64 and will result in the pages taking longer to load, both in the OPAC and the Page Generator.
