To specify whether an alert is displayed when you try to place a global reservation and there are local holdings:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Display alert when global reservation placed and there are local holdings to 0, 1 or 2.

   0	No.
   1	Yes if local items have a status with Allow reservations set to yes.
   2	Yes, always display alert.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
