If you scan in a borrower’s ID in Circulation, the borrower will be activated. You can only view a resigned borrower’s details if you scan the resigned borrower’s ID in the Borrower Registration Search form.
Resigned borrowers can be viewed without activating them. To do this:
- Select Borrower > Register > General to open the borrower registration form.
- Select Search on the action menu.
- Scan or type in the borrower’s ID.
- You will be prompted to reuse, reactivate or view the borrower's details.
- Click Reuse to use this barcode with a new borrower.
- Click Reactivate to reactivate the resigned borrower.
- Click View to view the borrower’s details without activating the borrower.
