Add a new alert

To add a new alert:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Alerts.
2. Click New.
3. Specify the new Code and Description, and click OK.
4. Set up the parameters, and then click Save or Save & Close.

Copy an existing alert

You can also add a new alert by copying an existing one. The new alert will then automatically have the same settings. To copy an alert:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Alerts.
2. Select the alert that you want to copy from the list.
3. Click Copy.
4. Specify the new Code and Description, and click OK.
5. Make any changes to the parameters, and then click Save or Save & Close.
