Delete an alert

Only site-specific alerts that you have added can be deleted or suspended.

To delete an alert:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Alerts.
Select the alert that you want to delete from the list.
Click Delete, and then click Yes at the confirmation prompt.
Click Save or Save & Close. The alert is only deleted when you save your changes.

Suspend an alert

Rather than delete an alert, you might prefer to suspend it. This means that it will no longer appear in any dropdown list of alerts. And you can un-suspend the alert later if you want to use it again. To suspend an alert:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Alert.
Select the alert that you want to suspend from the list.
Click Suspend.
Click Save or Save & Close. The alert is only suspended when you save your changes.
