Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the parent collection. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected collection. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.
To specify the gap between bookings for one item:
- From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Collections.
- Select the collection you want from the list.
- On the General tab, set the Booking buffer slots. If there’s a booking for an item then the number of buffer slots you’ve specified here must elapse before the next booking. If Booking slot of 1 day is set to Yes then Booking buffer slots is the number of open days.
- Press Tab or click anywhere on the screen to enable the Save options.
- Click Save or Save & Close.
