When you archive a borrower:

• Charges are waived.
• Bookings are completed.
• Reservations are cancelled.
• Requests are cancelled.
• Items linked to outstanding loans are deactivated.
• Loans are written off.
• SDI profiles are deleted.

Archived borrowers are also removed from delivery rounds and routing lists.

Borrowers with no transactions history and no child links are deleted.

Typically borrower archiving would be run as a scheduled task. You’d set up the borrower archiving parameters, save those settings in a file, and then call this file from a scheduled task.
