Add a new borrower category

To add a new borrower category:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Categories.
2. Click New.
3. Specify the new ID and Description.
4. The settings from the default borrower category are automatically inherited in the new one so you'll need to disinherit the parameter(s) you want to change. You can do this by:
   • clearing the checkbox to the left of the parameter or
   • clearing the Inherit from default checkbox or
   • clicking Inherit None.
5. Set up the parameters you want, then click Save or Save & Close.
