In the collection you can specify the catalogue filters, i.e. control whether the items in a particular collection are included in your search results.
There are three filters you can use for articles:
It’s best to have all three for your article collections, but we recommend you have at least ART and NI.
In the example below we’ve set up a collection called NA for newspaper articles, and applied the filters NI and ART against it. We haven’t applied the GEN filter. Therefore items in this collection will appear in a search for all articles and newspaper articles, but won’t appear in a general search.
Typically articles would be created as non-physical items rather than just items. This is because the articles are in a newspaper or journal rather than separate physical items.
