To specify whether deactivated items can be reactivated when they are returned:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Block reactivation of items to Yes or No.

   No	When you try to return a deactivated item then the DEACT alert is displayed, and you can choose whether or not to proceed.
   Yes	When you try to return a deactivated item then the ITMREACTBLOCK alert is displayed. This alert is critical and cannot be overridden.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
