To specify whether to check the loan policy as well as the borrower category to determine the maximum number of loans a borrower can have at one time:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Check loan policy for maximum loans to Yes (we'll check the loan policy and the borrower category) or No (we'll only check the borrower category).
3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
