Overdue fines can be calculated/applied at any time during the day, for example when you run a scheduled task to update loans or when you view a borrower's details.

If you wish, you can specify that overdue fines are only calculated/applied after a set time. To specify this time:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Click the Clock icon to the right of the Overdue processing start time, and select a time. For example, if you select 10:00 then overdue fines will only be calculated/applied after 10 AM.
3. Click Save or Save & Close.
