If the due date for an item being issued is later than the borrower's registration expiry date you can specify that the due date is automatically changed to the registration expiry date.

To do this:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Registration expiry overrides due date if occurring sooner to Yes or No.

   No	The DUEXMEXP alert is displayed and you can choose whether or not to proceed. The due date is not changed.
   Yes	The due date will be automatically changed to the borrower's registration expiry date.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
