To specify whether a lost item is deactivated when the associated lost and lost processing charges are paid:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Deactivate item when lost and lost processing charges paid. Set the parameter:
   • Yes when both lost and lost processing charges paid
   • Yes, when only lost charge is paid
   • No
     
3. Click Save or Save & Close.

When the lost item is deactivated, the loan is automatically written off.

Null means the same as No.
