To specify the opening and closing times for a location:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Locations.
2. Select the location you want from the list.
3. On the Opening Hours tab, specify the details you want.

If you click the Inherit checkbox then the opening and closing hours are inherited from the parent location and cannot be changed. To add, edit or delete the hours at the selected location you must first clear the Inherit checkbox and select the Open checkbox.

To set the opening and closing hours to null, simply clear the Open checkbox.

Any new locations you create will automatically inherit the opening and closing hours from the parent.

The opening and closing hours are displayed in the Web when you view the location details.

4. Click Save or Save & Close.
