Postal delivery active (global)

The global general parameters only apply if your library is part of a consortium, i.e. if there are multiple institutions using a shared database.

Instead of coming in to the library to pickup an allocated item, borrowers can choose to have the items mailed to them. To specify whether postal deliveries are available for global reservations:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation, Global and then General Parameters.
Set Postal delivery active to Yes or No.
Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
