If you specify the Privilege for suppressing display then the alert will only be displayed if the user’s privilege level is lower. For example, if you set the privilege to "Low" then users with a privilege level of "Medium" and higher won't see the alert.

If Privilege for suppressing display is null then the alert will always be displayed.

To specify the privilege level for suppressing display:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Alerts.
2. Select the alert you want from the list.
3. Select a Privilege for suppressing alert.
4. Click Save or Save & Close.
