To specify whether to validate the transaction causing an alert in OPAC:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Alerts.
2. Select the alert you want from the list.
3. Set Validate transaction in OPAC and self service to Yes or No. If you set it to Yes then a prompt will be displayed to OPAC users who can then choose whether or not to continue with the transaction.
4. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
