    Read-only staff user accounts

This feature requires server version 10.7.1 or higher.

User accounts may now be flagged as Read-only. Read-only users can view all records that the assigned User group allows access to, but may not make any changes.

    Do not allow concurrent logins

This feature requires server version 10.7.1 or higher.

Spydus may now be configured to allow or disallow concurrent logins for staff, and for borrowers.

For staff, a user may be logged in only on a single device/application. A staff user may not be simultaneously logged into Spydus via a web browser and the SpydusGO app for iOS & Android.

For borrowers, a user may be logged into both the Spydus Mobile borrower app, and via web browser at the OPAC, but may not have concurrent logins in either. i.e. a borrower may not be logged into the OPAC in two places, even if they are not logged into the Spydus Mobile app.

For SpydusGO, version 1.3 is required.

Please contact Civica Support for assistance as commissioning is required.

Improvements to LCF (Library Communications Framework) API integration

Expand LCF API to support consortia

LCF functionality has been enhanced to support borrowers viewing transactions from multiple institutions within mobile applications (e.g. Solus). To enable this functionality, the API user must have the Global option checked.

Add a flag to server circulation API response indicating a borrower charges/fines have been updated

    This feature requires a minimum server patch: 10.8.1, 10.7.2, 10.6.4, 10.5.10, 10.3.11, 10.2.15, 10.1.6.22, 10.1.5.23, 10.1.4.23, 10.1.3.30, 10.1.2.27

A flag has been added to the CTRN response, which indicates whether borrower fines/charges have been updated during:

    Improve Login performance

A number of improvements have been made to login procedures to reduce login time.

LCF API 'Log access' option added

This feature requires server version 10.5.1 or higher.

A Log access option has been added to the API Manager to allow API users to update the Borrower Access Log (BAL) table when a borrower is validated via the API. If enabled, when the API user validates a borrower, the date, time, and location of access will be logged in the borrower record.

This access log may be used in concert with the Required number of days since last network access parameter to prevent active borrowers from being anonymised.

LCF - Add record formats from WPAC to media-type structure in the response to a manifestation request

When a manifestations request is made to the API, the record format (as displayed at the WPAC) will be returned in the media-type.
