The ERM module allows users to record and manage information about electronic and digital services, e.g. licenses, terms and conditions, subscription period, vendor and order references, price, and so on. ERM comprises three sub-modules: Digital Assets, Online Resources and Contracts.
As of Spydus 10.6, Spydus Digital Asset management (known alternatively as DA, DAM, or Blis) has been absorbed into the ERM module, with the option to leverage hugely expanded functionality. This includes automated audio file transcription, image analysis and automated tagging, and additional artificial intelligence services through the Microsoft Azure platform.
Note: As of Spydus 10.6, all customers will access Digital Asset management within the ERM module, however, some additional features are chargeable. Contact your account manager for more information.
Contracts can have any number of attachments of any file type, and a contract may be linked to any number of online resources.
Online Resources may also be catalogued in ERM, and may be displayed at the OPAC for public access e.g. online databases, websites and content streaming services
