“Profile matching” can be used to find and select titles that match a borrower’s alert profile. The associated items are then issued at the Circulation Front Desk, and delivered to the borrower as part of a regular Home Services delivery round.

Block profile matching specifies the statuses that block profile matching, i.e., items with a “blocked” status are not available for profile matching.

To specify whether items with a particular status are available for profile matching:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Item Status.
2. Select the status you want from the list.
3. Set Block profile matching to Yes or No.
4. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
