The Home Services module is for circulating items to borrowers who are physically unable to go to the library.
Profile Matching — also referred to as SDI profiles or current awareness profiles — is used to find and select titles that match a borrower’s interests. This matching is done within the Home Services module as a single task rather than by searching for and performing matching on individual borrower accounts. Matching places a reservation against the selected title. The items can then be issued through the Circulation module and delivered to the borrower.
Delivery rounds are set up in the Home Services module, which involves grouping borrowers together and assigning them a driver who will do the delivery.
Circulation is used to register borrowers and drivers, and set up SDI profiles. The Home Services module is used to set up the delivery round, to match titles, and to circulate items.
