Allow or block profile matching for a collection

Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the parent collection. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected collection. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.

“Profile matching” can be used to find and select titles that match a borrower’s alert profile. The associated items are then issued at the Circulation Front Desk, and delivered to the borrower as part of a regular Home Services delivery round.

To specify whether items in a particular collection will be used in profile matching:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Collections.
Select the collection you want from the list.
On the General tab, set Allow profile matching to Yes or No.
Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
