Global ID for collections

In the collection you'll find a parameter for setting the Global ID. This is used in the scope of global reservation policies.

To set the global ID for a collection:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Collections.
Select the collection you want from the list.
On the Details tab, select the Global ID.
Click Save or Save & Close.

The global collection codes are held in the GCO table. This table can be edited using the Table Manager.
