This feature requires server version 10.8 or higher.

Libraries have the option to indicate to a borrower (when logged in at the OPAC) whether they have previously borrowed a title (or issue in the case of magazines) in a set of records returned by a search.  

The flag and text are controlled in the Previously Borrowed section of the General tab of the HTML Configurator.

Enable Previously Borrowed visual indicator

If selected, a visual indicator will display on titles (or serial issues) previously borrowed by the logged in borrower in the record's brief and full display.

This will set the text for the Previously Borrowed visual indicator. If the date of the borrower's previous loan is required, use '{date}' in the string. e.g. 'Previously loaned on {date}'
