This feature requires server version 10.8 or higher.

This section allows the configuration of the Book Group Kits search at the OPAC.

Book group kit search is only available to book group administrators from their My Account page.

Label to be shown in the header search bar and search pages for the book group kit search option.

Available filters

If catalogue filters are added to the Available filters section, a table listing the filters will appear at the bottom of book group kit searches at the OPAC. The filter may be selected to apply to the search being performed.

If a catalogue filter is selected for a search, only collections with that filter applied will appear in the search results.

Search fields

The listed search fields in the Book group kits Advanced Search form able to either be shown, by checking the available box, or to be hidden, by un-checking the box.

Period required

Using the 'Period required' dates at the OPAC will exclude any kits that have been booked for any dates within the selected period. e.g. If searching from 01/01/2020 - 31/01/2020, and a kit has been booked for a single day on 15/01/2020, it will not be included in the search results.

However, kits returned by the search may have unavailability during the selected period due to:

• branch closure days or holidays
• booking buffer slots from Collection parameters
• due date lag from booking policy

Bookings may span a closed period, but a booking may not start or end on a closed date.
