Maximum claimed returned loans
In This Topic
Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the default borrower category. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected borrower category. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.
To specify the maximum number of loans that a borrower can claim as returned:
- From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Categories.
- Select the category you want from the list.
- On the Details tab, set the Maximum claimed returned loans. Null or 0 means that the borrower can have an unlimited number of loans as claimed returned.
- Press Tab or click anywhere on the screen to enable the Save options.
- Click Save or Save & Close.
If setting a loan to "Claims returned" would exceed this maximum then you'll see a message pop up, for example:
The number of loans the borrower claims have been returned (4) will exceed the maximum set in the borrower category (3). Do you want to continue.
