If a lost item is returned, you’ll be prompted whether you want to cancel the lost charges. To specify whether cancelling will waive or remove the lost charge:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then General Parameters.
2. Set Remove lost charges on return to Yes or No.

   No	The lost item and lost item processing charges are waived, i.e. you'll still be able to see the charge records.
   Yes	The lost item and lost item processing charges are removed, i.e. the charge records are deleted.

3. Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
