To returns items in Circulation Offline:
- Click the Circulation Offline icon in the System Tray, and click Open.
- Click Offline Transactions.
- Specify your username and password, the location and line, and click OK. The username and location default to the ones used at initialisation.
If the Issues tab is the one currently selected then:
- Click the Returns tab OR
- Click Transactions, and then Returns OR
- Press F5.
- Scan or type the item's accession number in the Barcode box. Repeat this for each item to be returned.
Intransit alert
If the item’s home location is not the one it’s being returned at then an INTRANSIT alert will be displayed. For example:
The item can then be set aside. This will also be shown in the recovery report, for example:
Successful Transactions: 1

Reservation alert
If an item that’s been reserved is returned then the INTRANSIT alert will not be displayed, only the ORSV alert. This should avoid any confusion, for example, in cases where the item is being returned at location A, the home location is B, and the item has been reserved and is to be picked up from location C.
The pickup location will be shown in the recovery report, for example:
