Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the parent location. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected location. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.
To specify whether a particular location can be a pickup location for reservations:
- From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Locations.
- Select the location you want from the list.
- On the Properties tab, set Pickup location to Yes or No.
- Pickup location. Specifies whether reservations can be collected from the selected location. Only the locations that have this parameter set to Yes will appear in the drop-down list of pickup locations when you place a reservation.
- Pickup location (archive request). Specifies whether requests placed in Archives can be collected at the selected location. Only the locations that have this parameter set to Yes will appear in the drop-down list of pickup locations when you place a request in Archives.
- Pickup location (OPAC). Specifies whether reservations placed in OPAC can be collected at the selected location. Only the locations that have this parameter set to Yes will appear in the drop-down list of pickup locations when you place a reservation in OPAC
- Click Save or Save & Close.
