    Budget check
    In This Topic

You can only check the budget for pending orders.

If you select multiple orders and some of those orders cannot be checked, e.g. if they are not pending or if they have expired, you'll see a message listing the orders that cannot be checked and asking if you wish to proceed with the budget check for the others.

In a budget check we pop up a dialog showing the budget, current balance, predicted balance and status for each of the funds in the selected orders/POs. The status will show "Warning" if the predicted balance is within the minimum balance specified in the fund, and "Critical" if the predicted balance is negative. This can help you decide whether to proceed with a particular order.

You can carry out a budget check from the Order List, the Purchase Order List or a PO.

Budget check from the Order List

To carry out a budget check from the Order List:

    1. Select the order or orders you want in the Order List.
    2. Click Budget Check or right-click on the selected orders and click Budget Check.
    3. This will show the budget, current balance, predicted balance and status for each fund on the selected orders.

Budget check from the Purchase Order List

To carry out a budget check from the Purchase Order List:

    1. Select the PO or POs you want in the Purchase Order List.
