To specify the alert that gets displayed when you try to issue or renew an item for a borrower with a particular trap:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Traps.
2. Select the trap you want from the list.
3. Select an alert for Alert for issue/renewal trap. If you don't select an alert then BRWTRPRNW will be used.
4. Click Save or Save & Close.
