The Alert for issue/renewal trap specifies the alert that gets displayed when you try to issue or renew an item to trapped borrower. To specify the alert that gets displayed for any other circulation activity with a trapped borrower:

1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Traps.
2. Select the trap you want from the list.
3. Select an alert for Alert for validation/activity trap. If you don't select an alert then BRWDLQGEN will be used.
4. Click Save or Save & Close.
