Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the parent collection. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected collection. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.
You can set up category quotas in the borrower category to breakdown the maximum number of loans according to the collection category.
To specify the collection category for a particular collection:
- From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Collections.
- Select the collection you want from the list.
- On the General tab, select the Collection category.
- Click Save or Save & Close.
The collection categories are set up in the CCGY lookup table, and can be maintained using the Table Manager.
