Prompt to automatically extend a registration expiry date
    In This Topic
Select Inherit from default to inherit the settings from the default borrower category. Clear this option if you want to add, edit or delete the settings for the selected borrower category.

To specify whether you're prompted to automatically extend the registration expiry date for a borrower:

    1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Categories.
    2. Select the category you want from the list.
    3. On the Details tabs, set Registration auto extend to Yes or No.
    4. Click Save or Save & Close.

If Registration auto extend is set to Yes then you'll see the prompt when you edit the registration details of a borrower whose expiry date has passed or is within the Registration expiry cutoff period.

If you've specified the registration period on the Details tab then you'll see a prompt like this:

Click Yes and the registration period will be added to the current date to determine the new expiry date.

If you've specified membership periods on the Membership tab then you'll see a prompt like this:

Click Yes and you'll see a list of the available subscription periods. Select the one you want and click OK. This subscription period will then be added to the current date to determine the new expiry date.

Null means the same as No.
