    Registration expiry cutoff period
    In This Topic
Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the default borrower category. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected borrower category. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.

You can set a cutoff period for the borrower's registration so that you'll see an alert at the front desk if the registration will expire soon. For example, let's set the cutoff to 7 days.

    To set the cutoff period:

    1. From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Categories.
    2. Select the category you want from the list.
    3. On the Details tab, set the Registration expiry cutoff period in days.
    4. Press Tab or click anywhere on the screen to enable the Save options.
    5. Click Save or Save & Close.
If the Registration auto extend parameter is stet to Yes, you will be prompted to extended when editing the registration of a borrower who is within the Registration expiry cutoff period.
