Registration workflow approval required

Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the default borrower category. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected borrower category. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.

In the Privilege Manager you can specify that new registrations require approval, i.e. new registrations are marked as "pending" and must then be approved or declined using the Workflow Manager.

You might not want workflow approval to be required for every borrower category, e.g. perhaps not for "Staff". To specify which categories require approval:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Categories.
Select the category you want from the list.
On the Details tab, set Registration workflow approval required to Yes or No. If you set this to Yes then a borrower registered in the selected category will be flagged with a status of pending.
Click Save or Save & Close.

Null means the same as No.
